Corrine Smith, the glue that has held our family together for a very long time, left us early Sunday morning at the extraordinary age of 101. Although her physical well being had diminished during the last few years, her mind was as sharp as a tack and she still had a wicked sense of humor that would make anyone around her smile and laugh.
She lived for the Los Angeles Dodgers and had been a lifelong fan since their days in Brooklyn. She loved spending time in her backyard taking care of her roses and watching the hummingbirds.
She was an award winning quilt maker, many of which were given to local charities for those less fortunate.
Corrine had four children of her own and is survived by her son William and daughter Judy. Corrine also had 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She loved all of us unconditionally and will be greatly missed by all of us.
We love and miss you.
Your family.
