Durvalina was born in Serreta, Teceira, Azores and at the age of 90 she passed away in Downey, California. Durvalina is survived by her children Jose V. Da Costa, David Da Costa, and Maria Lourenco, 15 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jose and her daughter Dora Sanning.
