Gene was born in Compton, California and at the age of 79 he passed away in Orange, California. Gene is survived by his children Darla Wendell, Eric Wendell, Lisa Wendell, Greg Wendell, and Wendy Karlskin, 2 grandchildren, siblings Gail, Glen, and Gay. Gene was preceded by death by his loving wife Nellie.
