Gonzalo N. Sosa, 64, passed away on May 18, 2021 in Los Angeles, CA.

Gonzalo was born in Mexico City to Juan and Eva Garcia on January 10, 1957.  He married Socorro Barragan and had three beautiful children, Gonzalo, George and Beatrice.

At the age of 8 his parents brought him to the United States and he completed his schooling in Los Angeles.

Gonzalo was an amazing human being that just wanted the best for his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Gonzalo had a remarkable track record at his work. He never failed to show up to work and his work ethic allowed him to provide for his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He worked very hard and always told his children, grandchildren and godchildren to stay in school and to always LISTEN.

He was an avid Rams and Dodgers fan. He made sure that his kids and grandkids found time to play sports. He would always make a sacrifice to enroll his kids and grandkids in sports.

Gonzalo was the life at all family gatherings. Family and friends gravitated to him because he was a loving and caring person aside from being smart.

Gonzalo is preceded in death by his father Juan Garcia and brother Jorge Garcia and granddaughter Alexandra.

Gonzalo is survived by his spouse Socorro. Children and spouses; Gonzalito- Cynthia, George- Vanessa, and daughter Beatrice. He is survived by his mother Eva and grandchildren, Gonzalito, Martin, Esmeralda, Anthony, Matthew, Ruby, Alexandria and his two great-Grandchildren, by his sisters; Angelica and Rosamaria, his brothers, Carlos, Eddie, Reynaldo, and Jimmy.

Gonzalo will truly be missed by all those who knew him because he touched everyone’s life in a special way.

The family of Gonzalo wishes to extend thier sincere thanks to all family and friends who journeyed together during these difficult times. May Gonzalo Rest in Peace.
