Luz was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and at the age of 82 she passed away in Downey, California. Luz was preceded in death by her loving husband Jose Padilla, and she is survived by her children Alicia Gallo, Irma Padilla, Elba Padilla, Laura Padilla, Jaime Padilla, Samuel Padilla, and Sergio Padilla, 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
