Maria Luisa Galindo Lopez

Los Angeles

Maria Galindo, aka Lulu, was born August 31, 1974. She had just recently married Jose Lopez on July 10th, 2024 and sadly passed on July 17, 2024. She loved Pepe with all her heart and we pray that both he and his family can heal as the time goes on. We pray that we can all heal. Lulu was a beautiful Daughter, Sister, Aunt, a best friend to many, a Godmother to three wonderful children, and just added to her list, a Wife. Even though she had no biological children, she was a Mother figure and a Father figure to her Nieces and Nephews. Lulu was a certified C.N.A. and spent over a decade working and caring for many elderly in a nursing home. In the more recent years, her circle of friends began to grow. Beginning with the Salcedo Family who she became well acquainted with while spending several days and hours at Dialysis. She shared plenty of stories and laughs with Karren Salcedo at dialysis and they became Best Friends. As many of you know, Lulu loved collecting perfumes, smoking cigarettes, and drinking her morning cup of coffee. Most of all, she loved our Family gatherings at The Galindo Residence. She was a simple person with simple pleasures. Some of her guilty pleasures were something as small as enjoying a good Hamburger, a side of fries, and a nice cold coke. She did love to cook too. Some of her famous signature dishes were garlic soup, spaghetti, and shrimp tacos. Lulu may have been tough and stubborn with no filter, but she loved everybody! Well, almost everybody lol. Whenever someone was in need of a place to stay, or in need of help in some other type of way, Lulu and her husband Jose Lopez were always the ones to be counted on to help anyone get back on their feet. There was never a dull moment with Lulu. She was always the life of the party. This beautiful human being was taken from us way too soon. Maria Galindo (or as most of us know her by) Lulu, will truly be missed. Her spirit will continue to live on through her loved ones.
