Maria was born in Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico, and at the age of 76 passed away in Whittier. Maria is survived by her children Miguel Cardenas, Rosalba Chavez, Norberto Cardenas, Michelle Thins, Maria Cardenas, Patricia Baez, Susana Cardenas, Fortunato Cardenas and their families, including her 34 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Maria will be missed by her beloved dog Chucho.
