Mary Jacqueline Mc Sorley

Mary Jacqueline Grourke McSorley, “Jackie,” 92, of La Mirada, California, passed away on January 15, 2022. Mary, "Jackie,” was born on June 22, 1929, to Thomas and Marion Grourke in Lowell, Massachusetts. After Mary graduated from Lowell High School in 1947, she spent her time “reclining on the shores of Hampton Beach.” In 1948, she met Charles “Boyd” Mc Sorley. Mary and Boyd married and went on to have six children, Charlene Whitley, Joyce Gage, Andrew McSorley, Jacqueline Slater, Marcella McSorley, and Shanna Menezes. Mary, “Jackie,” was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Charles Boyd McSorley, her sisters, Dorothy Shepard, Patricia Reilly, Eileen Nunes, and her grandchildren, Carmen McSorley and Brendan McSorley. She is survived by her 6 children, 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was very loved and will be missed very much.
