Nellie was born in Westminster, California and at the age of 97 she passed away in Whittier, California. Nellie is survived by her children Diana Covin, Becky Rodriguez, John E. Montez, and Mary Poulsen, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. Nellie was preceded in death by her loving husband John C. Montez and her daughter Lala Clark.
