Died: January 13, 2024, in Tehachapi, Ca 

Sandy passed away peacefully on Saturday January 13^th at 6:40am at home in Tehachapi, Ca. The daughter of Eduardo A. Ramirez & Nellie Gambia-Ramirez. She was a graduate of Excelsior high school in Norwalk, Ca. She spent her employment years as a security officer for Rockwell International & finished up her occupation as a staff assistant at Paramount high school. She leaves behind her husband of 28 years. M. Brian Van Dunk, two sons Richard A. Salazar & Marx J Salazar. Grandchildren Ileana, Richard, Ilesia, Markie, Frank, Savannah, Layla, Isaiah, Shauna, & Cylah. Great Grandkids Richie, Aj, Victor, Nellie, Natalie, Nadia, & Angelita Mia. Step Children; Chach Van Dunk his wife Tina, Anthony Van Dunk, his wife Latina, & Rachel and her husband Dan Aguilar. 5 step Grand children Brian, Meah, Natalie, Dylan, & Norah. Sisters Norma Paxton, Eleanor “Leo” Lopez, Brother Eddie Ramirez & Sister in law Betty Ramirez. Granddaughter in Law Celina Salazar, and Maria Salazar, & daughter in law Cacia Salazar. Numerous Nieces & Nephews & cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Ed & Nellie, Sister Rachel & her husband Nacho Franco, her sister Frances Navarro- Ross, brother in law Larry Plaxton. 

All who knew Sandy fell in love with her instantly. A giver at heart, her joy was making people laugh. She loved her family & made it a point to know them all. She was greatly loved & will be sorely missed by all. She chose to be cremated and her final resting place will be with her husband Brian in Tehachapi, Ca. In addition to the service held at Chapel of Memories-Norwalk. She will be memorialized & celebrated in Tehachapi, Ca on a date, time and place to be determined.
